Jahurul Islam Medical College is one of the oldest medical colleges in Bangladesh situated in Bhagalpur in the Kishoreganj district. The college is at a distance of mere 110 km from the capital city, Dhaka. The college was established in 1992 by Jahurul Islam with the aim of providing modern medical education to the forthcoming doctors so that they can make a positive impact in the country and in the world. Jahurul Islam Medical College provides hostels with all modern facilities which include proper internet connectivity with modern IT infrastructure. The college hostel has 7 stories building enough to accommodate all students and even rooms for those who want to pursue further studies. The hostel has some rules which need to be followed by students. The hostel gate closes at 10 pm and opens at 6 am and all students need to enter the college before the closing of the gate. The college also provides an in the campus hospital with all ancillary services and satisfactory transportation for the faculties and students in and outside of the college campus. Students are asked to maintain their rooms clean. Separate hostels for girls and boys are available. The hostel premise is fully furnished with basic as well as modern facilities such as beds, shelves, fans, chairs, bathrooms, study tables, laundry room, etc. Wifi facility is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Areas for extracurricular activities are also available in the hostels such as rooms for reading, entertainment, arts and craft, music, etc. All students take the food from the common dining hall and follow the following timetable. ➖
