Khulna Medical College (KMC), founded in 1990, is a medical school in Bangladesh that is part of the Khulna Medical College and Hospital, also known as the “250-bed hospital.” It is located in Khulna city, close to the inter-district bus stop at the city’s entrance. Despite this, the institution has a stellar record in medical education.
The Khulna Medical College Hospital had 250 beds prior to 1989. During the year, there was consideration given to the idea of founding a medical college. KMC was thus born. Three hostels for intern doctors, two for boys, and one for girls. The boys’ dorm and one of the girls’ dorms both have four stories. Quarters are also located within the boundary of the staff and officers of the hospital and the college.
