Kushtia Medical College opened its doors in 2011, in Bangladesh. It is a Medical school run by the government. As a constituent college, the college has a relationship with Sheikh Hasina Medical University.
Each year, 65 students are admitted to its five-year MBBS program. A temporary start to academic activities was made at MATS, Kushtia. Construction on the permanent campus has begun on the canal bank next to the Kushtia-Dhaka Highway, across from the Housing #E Block. It is anticipated that the permanent campus will take the place of the academic and residential options in 2021. The third phase of the KuMC-07th batch is currently in progress (fourth year). The college was recognized by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
