Admission Procedure of MH. Samorita Hospital & Medical College

  1. For local students
  • Prospectus and application forms are available from the college office between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm for a fee of Tk. 1000/-. Applicants  should drop off their completed application form, written by hand, during business hours on or before the due date.
  • Candidates who are chosen must appear before the college administration at the designated time and date in order to be admitted. Candidates on the waiting list will fill the open positions (In case of failure in admission by the selected candidates within the stipulated date and time).
  • Candidates who meet the requirements for admission will be evaluated by a committee of medical experts from the MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College. Candidates who are deemed unfit for admission will not be admitted.
  • 5% of all seats are set aside for the Governing Body (not more than 8)
  • 5% of seats are set aside for poor and deserving students.

115 BDS students have been enrolled in the college so far, starting with the 2010–2011 academic year, in five batches. The Dhaka University, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Bangladeshi Government, and BM & DC have granted permission for the admission of 20 foreign students in BDS for the 2015-2016 academic year following routine inspection and evaluation of the academic performance and the facilities available in the college.
